Ceiling
--

The ceiling will be 3/16 inch plywood that
is held
in place with aluminum channel. The channel is bolted to either parts
of the
metal van structure, or in some cases it is attached to wood that I
have
already installed. I added "rivnuts" to the channel. Rivnuts are
threaded inside
like a nut, but they are squeezed into the channel with a special tool
similar
to how a rivet is installed. 1/4" bolts screwed into the rivnuts will
hold the
plywood ceiling panels up tight against the aluminum channel and form
the
overhead ceiling.

I managed to get three ceiling panels installed, each of them 2
feet wide. But, other than installing some overhead lights in the three
ceiling panels, I don't think I'll do much more ceiling work until next
winter.
