Walls

The KilMat is mostly to dampen vibration noise when driving down the highway. The real insulation comes from two layers of ½” Polyiso sheets (the blue and white boards in this picture).

I varnished the edges of the Polyiso to minimize the amount of moisture absorbed by the foam.

I also got some wool insulation.

The wool is useful for tight little spaces.

I got some Thinsulate mostly to see what it was like to work with. So far I have used Thinsulate to insulate my 2 wheel wells.
