Overhead Storage Cabinets
--

In theory...

The
overhead storage is sort of a strange shape, which seems to be a common
problem in boats and vans. To get the shape pretty close to "correct"
before cutting up expensive birch plywood, I used scrap wood and a hot
glue gun to make a temporary template of the shape. Then, I cut the
birch plywood to the same shape as my template.

The skeleton of the overhead storage cabinets starts to take shape.

The starboard side overhead storage cabinets are mostly complete.
For now, access to each cabinet compartment is simply a round opening.
Next winter, I will replace the round openings with rectangular
openings and build some cabinet doors.
